The Wheel
There is something captivating about the pottery wheel.
A lump of clay becomes a bowl, a cup, a vessel—guided by your hands, patience, and a little bit of persistence. The wheel teaches us to slow down, pay attention, and embrace the occasional wobble.
Whether you're trying it for the first time, looking for a regular creative outlet, or wanting to develop your skills further, our wheel classes offer a supportive and inspiring space to learn.

Casual Wheel Sessions
Our Casual Wheel Classes are perfect for those wanting flexibility.
Whether you've completed a beginner course, have previous wheel experience, or simply want dedicated time to practice, these sessions provide access to wheels, studio space, and guidance from our lovley wheel magicians when needed.
There are no set projects and no pressure—just time to throw, experiment, refine your skills, and enjoy the process.
Come along with an idea, continue working on an existing project, or simply see where the clay takes you.
Suitable for all levels - from beginner to advanced.

Beginners 5 Week Wheel
New to the wheel? This course is where your journey begins.
Over five consecutive weeks, you'll learn the foundations of wheel throwing under the guidance of our wheel alchemists. Beginning with centring and pulling cylinders, you'll gradually develop the skills needed to create bowls, cups, and simple vessels.
Along the way you'll learn trimming, finishing, glazing, and how clay behaves through each stage of the making process.
This course is designed for complete beginners and those wanting to revisit the fundamentals. Small class sizes ensure plenty of individual support, encouragement, and hands-on learning.

Advanced 5 Week Wheel
Designed for potters who are comfortable centring and creating basic forms, this course focuses on refining technique, developing consistency, and pushing your skills further.
Working alongside our wheel wizard, you'll explore more complex forms, larger pieces, altered shapes, lids, handles, joining techniques, and the finer details that transform functional pottery into beautifully crafted work.
This course is ideal for those wanting to deepen their understanding of wheel throwing, challenge themselves creatively, and continue growing as makers.
