Hello BriannaYour MUD party is booked for this coming Saturday at 3pm, and we're looking forward to welcoming you all into the studio for a bit of muddy fun!Just a few things to know before you arrive.A little about your sessionYour session runs for 2 hours, from 3pm to 5pm, which includes around 15 minutes at the end for cleaning up.You're more than welcome to bring along drinks and nibbles to enjoy while you're here. We can provide glasses and plates — just let me know if you'll need them.If you'd like to start with a drink and a nibble before getting your hands into the clay, that's absolutely fine! Just bear in mind that this will come out of your two-hour session. If you'd prefer a little extra time, let me know and we can work out an additional cost. Now for the fun part — what are we making?I'll have a few ideas ready for you, but if there's something your group would particularly love to make, I'd love to hear it!I generally find it works best when everyone starts with a similar project. The wonderful thing about clay is that even when everyone makes the same thing, no two pieces ever turn out alike. That's part of the magic!I've attached a few ideas to get those creative juices flowing. Most importantly, come ready to have some fun, get your hands dirty and enjoy a couple of hours doing something a little different. What happens to your muddy masterpieces?Once you've finished creating, we'll take care of the rest!Your pieces will need time to dry before they go into the kiln for their first firing (bisque). We'll then glaze them using our studio glazes and fire them a second time. The whole process takes approximately 6 weeks, so your creations won't be ready to take home on the day.I'll let you know when everything is ready for collection from MUD.And remember, handmade pottery is wonderfully unpredictable — a little wonkiness and individuality are all part of the charm! One last thing — numbers!Could you please confirm your final numbers before Saturday so I can make sure we have everything ready for your group? And if there are any last-minute changes, just let me know as soon as possible.Your outstanding balance of $480 can be paid by direct bank transfer before your session or in cash on the day — whichever works best for you. Just let me know your preference. And if there are any last-minute changes, please let me know as soon as possible.Looking forward to welcoming you all for some muddy fun!Looking forward to welcoming you all for a bit of muddy fun!Sue
