Firing and Glazing

Sometimes your creation may break or crackle in the kiln. Glazes are fickle and the glaze may not be what you are expecting. Whilst all due care is taken with the pieces you create, we cannot take responsibility for the whims of the kiln gods. With each firing we pray to the kiln gods to be kind to us

For one off workshops we will glaze your pieces for you.
The price of the workshop includes firing and glazing for two (2) standard size pieces, in our standard glaze colours. If you wish to have additional pieces fired and glazed the cost is $15 per piece.
The process from when you make your piece to when you collect can take 8 weeks - weather dependant.

All pieces will be kept for a maximum of 4 weeks once we notify you your piece is ready to collect.
Please let us know if you need to make arrangements to collect your piece outside of our normal opening hours. Or if you will be longer than 4 weeks to collect.

We can arrange postage at an additional cost.
